The historic façade of Taverham Hall belies the fine facilities within. Purpose-built classrooms, interactive technology, a recently built sports hall and extensive grounds ensure Taverham Hall School provides excellent facilities.
Children are growing up in a world dominated by technology. Being comfortable around computers and other modern ‘gadgets’, as well as enjoying access to traditional sports and creative facilities is essential for a modern education.

* The artificial turf of our new astro turf facility is a brand new product manufactured in Holland by Edel Grass and is the first pitch of this kind laid in Europe. It uses a new yarn developed by TenCate who are a market leader in advanced textiles and material technologies. The yarn used is micro curled and then woven to provide a dense non directional pile on which to play hockey. This newest development has global accreditation from Federation International de Hockey (FIH) which is the highest standard available. The carpet has a unique integrated backing system laid on a shock absorbing layer on top of an engineered sub base. The prime aim of this backing is to retain water within the carpet to maintain its low sliding resistance making it a fast pitch. This gives the pitch long term stability with perfect damping and shock absorption. The net effect is predictable and fast ball roll and enables players of all levels to learn and improve their game as its playing characteristics are the same as used at the highest levels in the game.
The school also have ample space in the grounds for golfers to practise shots and enjoy the golf club, conveniently located next door to the school.
